Backflow Testing and Sprinkler Start-up

Backflow testing. What is it and why its required.

Backflow testing insures that water from a sprinkler system does not flow backward into the public water supply. Backflow testing is a professional service that checks your backflow preventer device by assessing its pressure levels.

Backflow testing is required to ensure the safety of your drinking water and to protect the community from water contamination. Backflow occurs when water flows in the opposite direction of its intended path in a plumbing system or pipeline. This can happen when there is a break in a water main or during a fire, and can allow contaminated water to enter the drinking water system.

Sprinkler Blowout (Winterized)

To ensure the optimal performance and longevity of your sprinkler system, we highly recommend scheduling winterization services prior to freezing temperatures. To avoid potential costly repairs, please contact us in September to reserve an appointment.

It is particularly important to winterize all above-ground backflow prevention devices before temperatures drop below 32°F. Additionally, we advise removing and storing these devices for the winter, and covering any exposed pipes to protect them from the cold.

Inland Sprinklers & Landscaping was founded in an effort to better serve the people in Coeur d’Alene and surrounding areas. There are many businesses in the area focused on this industry; however, very few truly want to serve the community.

After endless discussions with friends and family, it was determined that there had to be a better business than the ones operating in sprinklers and landscaping here in the Coeur D’Alene area. People deserved a phone call back, an honest bid, and an accurate timeline of when work would be accomplished.

The foundation of Inland Sprinklers & Landscaping is “Honesty, Integrity, and Work-Ethic. Those are the principles and mission we will always try to accomplish. Family owned, the company is more about values than being the biggest company in town.

Specializing in sprinkler installation and sprinkler repairs, we also do backflow testing/start ups and the winterization of irrigation systems. I called on a Monday and requested an estimate for sprinkler system and they were at my house within hours and they started the project on Friday, worked on a Sunday, and finished the following Friday.
